Five Diaphragm Compressors Delivered to a Foshan Integrated Energy Station: 22, 45 and 90 MPa on One Site

Five diaphragm compressors left one factory for a single hydrogen station in Foshan — three at 22 MPa, one at 45 MPa and one at 90 MPa.

Lead

On 14 July 2026, five diaphragm compressors left a Wuhu factory bound for the Zhongqing Chikan integrated energy station in Danzao, Nanhai District, Foshan.

Three are rated 22 MPa (3,190 psi), one 45 MPa (6,530 psi) and one 90 MPa (13,050 psi). That is three pressure grades on a single site, serving hydrogen filling, storage and high-pressure dispensing respectively.

According to the project announcement, the site is China's first commercially operating integrated station combining on-site hydrogen production with PV, refuelling and fuelling.

Facts

The delivery. Five diaphragm compressors: three at 22 MPa (3,190 psi), one at 45 MPa (6,530 psi) and one at 90 MPa (13,050 psi).

The 22 and 45 MPa units cover hydrogen filling and storage; the 90 MPa unit covers high-pressure dispensing. (Source: Zhongding Hengsheng (中鼎恒盛) official news, 2026-07-17; also reported by the Machinery Industry Network (机经网) in the China Industry Development Report, 2026-08-03.)

The receiving project. Located in Danzao, Nanhai District, Foshan. Investment RMB 110 million; site area 22.56 mu.

The station integrates three electrolysis routes — alkaline (ALK), PEM and AEM — with on-site hydrogen production of 3,000 Nm³/h. Refuelling capacity is 2,000 kg per day across 35 MPa and 70 MPa dispensing grades. Subsequent order. On 13 August 2026 the same supplier signed a contract for 25 G2-series diaphragm compressors with a Shandong new-materials customer, for hydrogen and ammonia mixed-gas service.

The stated inlet temperature is up to 220°C (428°F). (Source: China Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Expo, 2026-08-24, reporting a company announcement.)

Tender results in 2026. Public procurement notices record diaphragm compressor awards to the same supplier in three further instances during 2026.

PipeChina's science and research institute took a full-scale crack-propagation platform diaphragm compressor (award notice 25 August 2026), and Southwest Oil and Gas Field's central Sichuan operation awarded one for Pengyang-15 well construction (award notice 15 September 2026). Note on sourcing. This item reports a company delivery announcement. We record only the verifiable layer — what was delivered, to what project, at what pressure grades. We do not rank suppliers, we do not recommend one, and we do not repeat performance claims from company material.

What the source does not state

The delivery announcement does not state the suction conditions, the gas composition or the duty cycle of any of the five machines.
